Next, be sure to clean the home thoroughly including storage areas and closets as organized storage areas appear larger and accommodating. Finish this process with some staging. Rearrange your furniture so that it shows off the space best. Do things like adding flowers to your landscaping or pots by the front steps to make the home as warm and inviting as possible. Maintaining your home throughout the entire process is important to make a great impression on all buyers.

Step 2: Determine the list price of your home
Several things like market conditions, comparables, interest rates and your home’s location and condition will play a role in how much you can ask for price. In some ways home selling is part art, part science, part marketing, and part negotiation. Market comparables will be provided, but it is ultimately the seller that will set the asking price.

Step 3: Negotiating an offer
